"Was formed in March,1905, by Father Hamilton MacDonald, chaplain to the Sacred Heart Convent, Hammersmith, by permission of the Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Bourne, and it was blessed by His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X in November 1905." (excerpt taken from Altar Servers' Handbook)

Holy Family Parish FSSP in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada was given permission by His Grace Archbishop J.Michael Miller, CSB for a local chapter. Deo Gratias

I have several photos of each young man receiving their medal, it will take some time to go through all of them. There will be a short video as well.

Thanks for the post! Whenever I saw pictures of altar servers in the English-speaking world, I wondered what those medals were. We don't have this over here in Germany. It's time to introduce it ;-)

Thank You for the post. My own parish here in the United State is starting to register for the Archconfratenity.. Just out of curiosity, do all the chords are the same or your parish buys them independently?

Hi Daniel, I am not sure of an answer to your question. Sorry for the late reply as I was never alerted of the comments.
