The Merciful Bouncer

Everyone has experienced this to some degree. You go to a club or a bar/pub for a night out and there is bound to be security. Usually…Usually there are floor men or velvet rope men depending on the size of the establishment.

 If you ever have any interaction with any of these men, positive or negative you will get a certain vibe from them. You can feel radiating it from them like an outward shield, the sense that they LOVE POWER.

They love the idea of being in control of who gets to come in or who is not allowed into THE CLUB. They also love the fact that they have the POWER…the RIGHT…to MANHANDLE…or use FORCE to get what they want.

Of course of lot of these guys are juice monkeys and hopped up on Roids. Let’s face it, none of these guys are very bright…..sure some might be, in fact I knew a guy when I was 19 who worked part time as a bouncer and now he is a doctor, but I can tell you…..he still LOVES HIS POWER.

It comes with the territory. Deciding who gets to be in and who gets thrown out. Bouncer’s always take bribes, even a small one…they love to see people grovel…they love to see the fear. A bouncer loves to Humiliate people…..and they always let their ‘friends’ in….you know……. the ones that will watch their back. They quickly develop the mentality of the club being THEIR CLUB…..a bouncer will convince himself, this is MY CLUB…if you want in…play by my rules, even if he is not the owner of the club.

The men that choose these professions do so for a reason, even if later in life they go on to do something else…like a doctor, lawyer……a PRIEST. But that natural POWER instinct….they cannot shake it. 

And yet…probably 80% of a club’s patron’s would think “those bouncers are such great guys”

I have traveled to several countries and been in hundreds of bars/pubs around the world and all the bouncers are the same, I wouldn’t expect it to be any different in Buenos Aires.

Do you see the analogy?  It’s perfect…. and this is what every Catholic does who works in some sort of capacity for a Catholic organization and does NOT question what is going on in the Vatican. PUBLICLY.

You must be able to speak freely and to the public, if not it means you are under edict of some sort. 

Keep silent or else. If you want to keep your job at Diocese you better be careful what you say. If you want to eventually get your own parish as a pastor you better keep your mouth shut. Now, I am not saying every person who works at a Diocese office or for a Catholic school has to blast their unhappiness all across the world wide web. But lets get real here. How many of these Catholic’s want to be unemployed after working their whole lives within a system. The system of “shut up or we will label you a trouble maker”

The Nuremberg Defence is what they are using. These pathetic spineless cowards certainly can never claim…. “How could all those people in Germany follow along with the Nazi’s?”  "They must have known about the gas chambers”   or this one I am sure you have all heard  “If I was there in Germany during WW2 I would have resisted the Nazi regime, I would have spoken out.”

To all of that I say…..Yeah…right.

You are just as bad as those murdering Nazi collaborators, you are scared and shaking in your boots aren’t you?  Priests…who want a cushy posting, teacher’s who like their summer holidays, apologists who like the perks on the talk circuit. This includes Bishops as well as those in a position of Influence in the Church, editors, communicators and all those who represent the Church in public. Check out these people’s FB page or their Twitter accounts or their Instagram feed or their blogs….nothing….

So…they are just following orders. Orders from who?  Do they not see the irony.

Break free and stand up.

What is wrong with this man.

 If he is a man at all? Perhaps the devil? No Holy man of God would use such analogies. What a disgusting man to talk like this. We all know who he is referring to. The time for playing nice is over. The time for silence is over. The time for “nothing to see here” is over. Speak up about this foul creature!  I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.  

To your face! 

I will call you out!. 

 Your time is up!

 Do we pray for our enemies? of course…but it is hard and sometimes it may be insincere.

This is not despair! No! Stay close to the Lord and Our Blessed Mother, for they will never abandon you.

We know what this is. Those who are awake and who are not afraid to speak their minds, do it.

Everyone of us has the duty to uncover the demons no matter the colour of their cassock ( if they bother to wear one )
